  1. First off dust off your CV and make sure it’s as polished as it can be – ask someone to look at it for you.
  2. Sign up for every job site going. Figure out what you want to do,
  3. Make a list of your strengths and weaknesses
  4. Practice interviews etiquette
  5. Gather to gather a portfolio of examples of your work – if it’s a creative job.
  6. Research the company you’re applying for – it’s great for interviews.
  7. Make sure you have the right qualifications – if not there’s nothing stopping you getting them.
  8. If you’re disabled, have someone help you to write your statement outlining your needs/condition to your employer.
  9. Use positive adjectives when talking about yourself in interviews – say how this job will help improve your weaknesses.
  10. Apply for apprenticeships/ courses to help you find jobs – if your disabled sites like Remploy can offer loads more advice.
