Me and My Disability: Foods that Flare up Arthritis

Myself and one of my Carers who has arthritis were talking about flare ups and according to her and online medical sites there are foods you should avoid.

  • Hot spices
  • Refined sugar
  • Fried and processed foods
  • Dairy
  • Lower your AGE toxin intake
  • Salt
  • Alcohol.

Now, I definitely can live with out spices and alcohol. I could also give up processed food but, there’s no way I could give up dairy and refined sugar. Hello!! Cake and a cup of tea is practically 25% of the British diet!
